Music Upload Some notes about uploading files
- Make sure that ID3 tags are set in your mp3's so that people can see what they are listening to in their media players. If the tags aren't set, we won't do it for you. In fact, it could prevent us from adding or playing your music. [What exactly are these "tag" things?]
- Some browsers think that the server isn't responding if the file is taking a long time to upload. If this happens, try using a different browser, or change your browser's timeout settings
- It may take a long time to upload your song to our servers. Be patient and only click submit ONCE!
- There is no guarantee that your music will show up on the radio station or be featured in our podcasts. We will review it, and if we think that it is good enough, we will play it.
- By uploading your music, you are granting House Of Gigs LLC the right to add your music to our web-radio station and the right to use your music in our "podcasts". In addition, you are granting House Of Gigs the right to distribute your music to other podcasts and web-based radio stations.
- By uploading your music, you are NOT granting House Of Gigs LLC the right to sell your music, include it in any compelation CDs, "Burn" the music to any form of portable media, or otherwise distribute your music, except as specified above, unless specified by another agreement between you (The Artist) and House Of Gigs LLC.
- WE ARE NOT GROKSTER!!! Only upload songs that are YOUR intellectual property (and we will be checking)! If any illegal songs make it onto our servers, we will persue the offender to the fullest extent of the law.
